Synth Country Vol. 1 - Vinyl LP (Preorder)
PREORDER — ships on release, November 5, 2026.
12" vinyl, 33 1/3 RPM. Limited first pressing of 100 copies on opaque yellow vinyl, pressed at Gold Rush Vinyl in Austin, TX. When they're gone, they're gone.
12 country classics performed live with pedal steel, synthesizer, and electronic drum pad. Reinterpreted with various synthesizers, drum pad samples and keyboards, blended with traditional country and western instruments. Pedal steel is prominently featured, as well as gritty acoustic guitar.
The concept was born during the 2020 pandemic, on a weekly Twitch broadcast, with Tyler arranging backing tracks for his favorite 20th-century country songs using virtual MIDI instruments — which gave the whole thing its distinctly synthy feel. In April 2023 the best of those selections were finally cut properly: Tyler and some of Austin's finest musicians tracked and filmed all 12 songs live in his living room over two days.
The vinyl also carries "Ford Econoline" as a Side B deluxe track.
